Jurys Inn Sheffield Hotel

119 Eyre St, Sheffield S1 4QW, UK – 0114 291 2222

On a business trip so can't comment on the price but a friendly welcome on arrival and a pleasant functional hotel. Nice size for a double room and all the usual amenities:- TV, tea & coffee (no biscuits), iron and board and a super clean bathroom. Comfortable bed and loads of pillows but no view! Ideally located for night time activities especially the O2.

Good location easy access to city centre, comfortable rooms not noisy. Seems to have a lot of coach parties staying. Rooms have normal coffee & tea making facilities & there is an iron. Bathroom has a bath. There is a section near reception were you can buy toiletries or snacks, it's expensive but a good idea & useful if you don't want to leave hotel

Leopold Hotel Sheffield

2 Leopold St, Sheffield S1 2GZ, UK – 0114 252 4000

I love this hotel. The rooms are climate controlled so it's always a comfortable temperature. There is an excellent selection of teas and coffee in the room, as well as handy items like a full size iron and ironing board, safe and mini-fridge. We requested soy milk on the booking as I am vegan and enjoy a nice cup of tea bed. This was the only hotel to date which has carried out this request and brought the milk up to us. The staff were equally obliging when we requested a bottle opener. There are lovely complementary cruelty free Rituals products in the bathroom and the towels are fluffy. Around the back of the hotel there is a small square of restaurants and bars if you don't fancy wandering too far. This was our second stay here and we would certainly go back again.

Multiple staff doing multiple jobs is never a good sign especially when they excel at none. No real moans but level of service is entirely dependent on which staff members serves you. All the nice little details you expect item aren't there, brandy served in tumblers by one, served in a warmed brandy glass by another for example. It all adds up to a slightly annoying experience as you don't know what you are going to get. I've stayed twice in three months and it's been the same each time. Lovely building but the staff management let it down, I wouldn't stay again as the or service means it is over priced

Kenwood Hall Hotel

Kenwood Rd, Sheffield S7 1NQ, UK – 0114 258 3811

Booked to eat lunch here, on arrival the place was bereft of staff for a full 5 minutes! We eventually found a member of staff who having checked our reservation offered the bar area with coffee tables to eat at! As a wheelchair user this is impossible, as a regular person unacceptable. At this point I was ready to leave! Thankfully Tom, a member of the staff, let us sit at a table in the restaurant, where everyone else was having afternoon tea in their dressing gowns as part of a spa deal. If anything, I would have thought the arrangements should have been swapped as afternoon tea at a coffee table could work and be very relaxing. The meal made up for the initial upset. Delicious ,very well prepared and presented. The service from Tom was exceptional. Both of us were delighted with our meal. The plum, pear and ginger crumble with cinnamon ice cream was superb and recommended. Good coffee and not rushed either. Will probably return soon.

Myself and a friend went here for my birthday. It's in a lovely spot and it has its own pond which was nice to walk aorund although there was a fair bit of litter including an are strewn with cigarette ends. The spa facilities were nice. A little gymnasium and a small pool with nice jacuzzi. The afternoon tea was average. The finger sandwiches were not fresh at all but the scones were delicious and still warm which made them the highlight. I would go back but not for lunch. Instead i would have a spa treatment. offers competitive rates for any type of hotel, from small independent hotels to a five star luxury ones. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!

amazing food and affordable set menu! everyone loved it and staff was really nice. Will definitely come again.

Great food, cannot fault it. The service was good and prices reasonable for the quality of food you get. Nice wines and coffee too.

The Prince of Wales

95 Ecclesall Rd S, Sheffield S11 9PH, UK – 0114 236 9176

Lovely food and nice bar.. The summer heat though made it extremely hot in the restaurant as there was no air con. Would have been better if there's moved people to the seats at the back of house instead. The tall blonde bar tender makes a kick ass espresso martini though and the food was all excellently prepared so can definitely recommend. Free car park at the back, plenty of space for bigger groups and easy online booking.

Great pub with a lovely atmosphere and really nice environment. Food and drink are really nice, if a little overpriced. Service has always been very good as well. Would thoroughly recommend. Please Like if you've found this review helpful.

Friendly bar staff, landlord and landlady can't do enough for you why go anywhere else because you won't beat it. Say what you want about walkley cottage but nowhere in S6 or S10 can beat it 5 stars for food beer and service all the way. Mandie

Crescent Bed and Breakfast

My friend and I stayed here for three nights about three years ago. Mary and his husband were so kind, and we had really good memories there. Recently, I missed this place quite a lot, so searched for the website which introduced this B&B to look at some pictures. Unfortunately, I could't find the website. Maybe the website address has changed..? I hope to visit there again some day.
